Southeastern has promoted professional development and knowledge transfer since 1952 in the paper, packaging, and printing industries.

The mission of Southeastern is to:

•  Promote the exchange of technology and best practices

• Provide professional skill and knowledge enhancement

• Grow and provide opportunities for commerce

Throughout the year Southeastern coordinates multiple conferences with recognized authorities presenting new advances in technology and practices.  In addition, sponsors are afforded the opportunity to make special presentations of their products and services. 

Southeastern has trained thousands of individuals and hundreds of corporations from all over the United States, Canada, and even internationally.  To meet the members’ need for professional development, Southeastern conducts a coordinated series of workshops, many of which lead to professional certification.  Professional skills and knowledge enhancement is focused on:

• Six-Sigma Quality Management - Yellow-Belt, Green-Belt, and Black-Belt

• Project Management - Project Management Professional (PMP), Procurement, Risk

• Microsoft Project - Phase I (beginner), Phase II (intermediate), Phase III (advanced)

• Organizational Development - Communications, DiSC Analysis, Team Alignment
